Your new companyYou will be working for a fast-growing membership organisation based in the South Birmingham area. You will work in the Retentions department focusing solely on the retention and development of existing customers. As an individual but with a team goal, you will deliver and achieve overall goals of improving the retention status of customers to drive the growth of the organisation. Your new roleWithin your role you will achieve and aim to exceed personal KPI targets, all centred around retention. You will work within a call-centre environment and communicate via inbound and outbound calls, email and live chat, so excellent communication and customer service skills are crucial for this role. You'll aim to be a high-performing individual within your team and put all your efforts into providing expert advice, resolving queries, overcoming problems, increasing value, providing feedback and professionally handling any objections to help boost retention of your customers. You will work from a shared database, so accurate data entry and attention to detail is required. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you must be comfortable and thrive within a call-centre environment due to heavy phone call work. However, previous call-centre experience is not essential. You must, however, have relevant and recent customer service experience and be able to provide examples of and demonstrate your call handling skills. You must be a flexible and open-minded candidate as you may be asked to support wider colleagues to achieve one main goal. You must be friendly, approachable and engaging. This role is a permanent opportunity starting as soon as possible. What you'll get in returnWithin your role of Account Manager, you will receive an annual salary of c£26,000 per annum and the ability to earn an annual bonus if all targets have been met.
