QHSECoordinator
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for aQHSECoordinator to work for a leading manufacturing company based in Birmingham (B31) on a permanent basis.
Introduction
The role involves supporting the CorporateQHSEteam with responsibility for the running and maintenance of the Quality, H&S and Environmental Management Systems on site.
Day to Day Duties:
Responsibility for the branchQHSEManagement systems including ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Management of non-conforming material, product and interpretation of material specifications
Maintaining the supplier rejections database, issuingNCRsand following up on Supplier credits andRCCA
- Responsibility for the branch customer complaints process including responsibility for the Root Cause, Corrective action process relating to internal process failures including organisation of meetings, initiation of investigations, collation and production of8Dreports and reporting to customers and senior management
- Responsibility for the maintenance and update of the Quality Inspection equipment calibration system
- Accident/Incident Logs management including investigations, corrective actions and any subsequent training needs
- Management ofCOSHHcompliance
- Management of utilities, waste and vehicle usage and update of monthly EMS objectives as required
- Responsibility forQHSEmanagement system internal audits - set audit schedules in agreement with Head ofDept, conduct internal audits, follow up on audit completion and ensure close out of findings and actions
- Lead for customer audits and related corrective actions
- Lead in Third Party audits and related corrective actions ISO9100, ISO/14001, regulatory annualHS& fire audits, statutory rack inspections, Heat Treated wood audits
- MonthlyQHSEreports according to internal needs
- KPIMeetings management including preparation of the System Review reports for monthly meetings including metrics and actions
- Setting and leading annual Management Review meetings
- Working with the externalHSConsultant and GroupHSManager around implemented requirements
- New starter inductions coveringEHSrequirements

- Strong PC skills
- Strong administration experience
- Quality understanding

Hours: 8.30am- 5.00pmMonday to Friday (Office Based)
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000
