Astute's Renewables team is exclusively partnering with a leading renewable energy company, a market leader in solar operations, to recruit a Senior Portfolio Manager. The role involves scheduling, coordinating, and managing onsite service and maintenance of large-scale solar assets. This strategically important Senior Portfolio Manager role comes with a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you will:

  • Provide support and guidance to Junior Portfolio Managers.
  • Prepare and manage schedules - Plan weekly engineer schedules to ensure contractual obligations for preventive and corrective maintenance are met.
  • Coordinate call-outs - Assess monitoring alerts daily and organise field engineers to meet response time guarantees.
  • Contract management - Ensure all operation and maintenance agreements are fulfilled.
  • Budget management - Create and manage budgets for minor construction projects, corrective maintenance, and site improvements.
  • Work order management - Create and manage work tickets for engineers, ensuring all necessary details for reporting and follow-ups.
  • Reporting - Prepare monthly technical reports on asset performance, warranty claims, and insurance claims.
  • Client liaison - Communicate with clients, create quotes, and arrange site activities with internal and external resources.



Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Experience managing large scale solar assets
  • Experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Knowledge of PV monitoring systems.
  • Understanding of HSE and CDM regulations.
