Job description:

Role: Data Analyst

Duration: Permanent

Experience: 6-8+Years

Locations: Need to be flexible for all locations

Responsibilities include:

End to end data analysis, from business analysis and data modelling through to data quality assurance
Define and capture mapping logic for the Data Engineers
Complex SQL based data analysis including data profiling, transformation
Design and maintenance of the logical and physical data models targeted towards analytical use cases within a CASE tool (SAP Sybase Power Designer)

Work with other members of the data team, including data architects, data analysts, data engineers, testers etc.
Create full transparency of data for customers to know what is available and how to use it

Profile:

Experience in insurance/reinsurance or financial industry would be a plus
Requirements gathering, analysis and prioritization for business processes and data flows, persistence and integration
Solid logical data and physical modeling expertise; (Sybase Power Designer)
Data retrieval and manipulation using SQL
Data warehousing design, both dimensional and 3NF
Ability to understand and internalize an organization’s strategy and culture, and contribute to their implementation and reinforcement through technology architecture and data designs
Self-motivated and good communication skills
