Role: Senior Data Engineer

Location: Remote (one day a month in Oxford)

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 (dependent on experience)

This global organisation leads a digital platform that supports the functions of buying and selling properties and are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to enter their team. They are a massive corporation and made over £340 million in 2023! The ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience and have a STEM degree from a reputable university. The data team is relatively small (compared to the organisation) and they would love you to have experience with end-to-end data engineering processes.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • You will be supporting the team to modernise their existing data infrastructure
  • You will be responsible for end-to-end pipeline creation, ensuring scalability and efficiency
  • You will fulfil best practice regarding data quality and data governance
  • You will liaise with different teams and communicate to ensure stakeholders needs are met
  • You will support the creation and maintenance of DBT models

Skills and Experience:

  • Essential to have expertise with:
    • Stakeholder management
    • DBT
    • Kubernetes
    • Databricks
  • Desirable to have experience with:
    • Azure
