Temporary Collections Advisor - Immediate Start, Birmingham, B2

Weekly Pay, PAYE - £14.50 p/h

Hours: 9:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday

I am currently on the hunt for an experienced collections advisor to join my client, a leader in student accommodation across the UK, on a temporary basis. You will be responsible for supporting customers through inbound and outbound calls, ensuring that you take the time to understand each individual situation and provide a positive outcome. This is for an initial period of six weeks with likelihood to extend.

Duties Include:

  • Outbound calling to Customers regarding outstanding rent owed
  • Speaking to customers and setting up payment plans
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create resolution
  • Calling guarantors about outstanding monies
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Dealing with each customers with discretion
  • Explain the payment options
  • Updating details on the system

What we need from you:

  • Proven experience in credit control or equivalent
  • History with reconciliations
  • Good telephone manner
  • Good customer service
  • History of dispute resolution
  • Excellent time management
