T2M are currently working closely with a Facilities Management business, who provide solution offerings across M&E, Fire & Security, Compliance and many other aspects of the built environment, to help them to recruit a new General Manager.
As the General manager, you would be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day managemnet of the businesses operations and its customer interactions.
Responsibilities as General Manager
- Ensure business profitability.
- Oversee and maintain high levels of service delivery - take a pro-active role in visiting clients to ensure they are satisfied with service delivery.
- Growth and development of the existing contracted portfolios.
- Training and development of staff across the business.
- Management and coordination of subcontractors and their performance as and when required.
Requirements to be successful as their General Manager
- Proven experience of running a business or division, with full P&L responsibility.
- Relevant industry experience essential - experience working for a reactive FM / M&E type business.
- Experience in both operational and commercial managment.
- Stong leader, confident communicating internally and externally with customers at all levels.
- Able to be adapt and be responsive and flexible to changing business environments.
This is an exciting opportunity, and will provide someone the chance to drive and grow a business, with the support of a wider senior leadership team of various M&E businesses who form a group to which they belong to.
They have budgeted a salary of up to £80,000 and the package will likely include a car or allowance and a performance related bonus.
