Job description:

  • The dietitian will play a crucial role in the multidisciplinary care team, providing nutritional expertise and support to individuals with eating disorders.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and implementing personalised meal plans, monitoring patients' nutritional intake, and working closely with therapists, medical staff, and families to ensure holistic approach to treatment.
  • The dietitian will assess nutritional needs, calculate calorie intake from oral, passive eating, or NG feeds, and track patient progress. Where necessary, they will formulate and manage NG feed plans, while supporting youngpeople transitioning from NG feeding to oral diets, addressing their anxieties.
  • CAMHS experience required
