Regulatory Compliance Manager - Legal Services - £65K-£75k

Birmingham city centre

Highly regarded, entrepreneurial law firm with a nimble, agile outlook looking to recruit a regulatory compliance manager to join the growing in-house legal and risk team.

You will take responsibility for implementing, rolling out and driving compliance initiatives and solutions across the firm and take a holistic view of relevant regulatory matters

- Subject Matter Expert and manage the SRA (and other regulators) relationship

- Update and provide on-going training promoting a culture of compliance

- Provide solutions to on-going requirements

- Design and maintain regulatory records, controls, policies and processes

- Support COLP and COFA on reports and guidance

- Manage compliance projects across the group

This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for a function, implement your ideas, stamp your mark and truly influence the firm direction.

Ideally you will have a legal background (perhaps a qualifiedsolicitor but not essential) either in a law firms or regulatroy body

You will have strong commercial acumen and enjoy providing pragmatic solutions to achieve results

Sell-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple projects, a robust outlook and appetite for continuous improvement

Salary is c.£70,000 plus benefits

Hybrid working (3 days in the Birmingham office)
