  • Producing product designs and manufacturing drawings in Solidworks.
  • Represent Engineering in Obeya meetings when required. Taking full responsibility for any Engineering commitments that have been agreed.
  • Ensure process and procedures are carried out across the whole team through internal audits.
  • Producing highly detailed and manufacturing drawings in Solidworks, whilst maintaining MRP systems and PDM, ensuring high levels of accuracy and data.
  • Introducing and maintaining Engineering processes for technical drawings and validation.
  • Working to project plans, autonomously or with the appropriate project lead.
  • Ensuring continued communication and good relationships with external and internal customers.
  • Liaise with and provide technical support to applications and production.
  • Carrying out any other duties appropriate to this post, as necessary or as requested.
CAD Engineer Essential Qualifications / Experience / Skills
  • Able to produce highly accurate working 2D drawings using 3D modelling and in line with design and manufacturing requirements
  • Excellent understanding of DFM, DFA
  • Sound knowledge of Geometrical, Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • High level of technical drawing abilities in line with BS8888
