What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as a CAMHS Early Intervention Practitioner and play a vital role in supporting children and young people experiencing early symptoms of psychosis. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting initial and ongoing mental health assessments with young people and their families.

  • Working closely with the Early Intervention in Psychosis service to develop timely, evidence-based care plans.

  • Delivering specialist therapeutic interventions to support recovery and reduce distress.

  • Supporting risk assessment and management in coordination with a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Liaising with families, schools, social care, and other agencies to ensure collaborative care.

  • Maintaining accurate and timely records in line with NHS policies.

  • Promoting engagement, education, and early detection within the community.

Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid NMC, HCPC, or Social Work England registration

  • Previous experience in CAMHS and/or Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP)

  • Excellent communication and team-working skills

  • The ability to manage a caseload independently

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle

  • An enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, for an initial 3-month contract with strong potential for extension based on service need.
