ASD Teaching Assistant

Location-Bournville, B30 | Daily Rate- £85 -£100 | Start Date- ASAP

Hours- Full Time (Term Time Only) | Contract- Long Term to Permanent

LTF Recruitment are searching for nurturing, caring and patient SEN Teaching assistant for the new academic year, working with one of our partner schools in Bournville. The role is a 1:1 role based with a reception child who has been diagnosed with ASD and is preverbal. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent position at the school.

The Ideal candidate will have:

  • Level 2/3 supporting teaching and learning in schools or relevant qualification required.
  • Strong experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis.
  • Have experience of supporting SEN (ASD, Speech, Language & Communication needs)
  • A good team player be able to work with other staff and under direction of class teacher.
  • Knowledge of maintaining and updating and reviewing progress of EHCPS
  • Knowledge of the UK EYFS primary curriculum.
