Long Term Futures are looking for a dedicated and understanding ASD Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Northfield. This Ofsted-rated 'Good' school requires a 1:1 SEN TA to support a Reception child with autism and behavioural challenges. The role is long-term with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in SEN support, particularly with ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and experience in UK primary schools.
  • Ability to provide 1:1 support, small group interventions, and track pupil progress.
Key Skills:
  • Strong behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
  • Ideally trained in Team Teach or similar de-escalation techniques.
  • Patient, proactive, and adaptable to the needs of the child.
