Early Years Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B32 | £85 - £100 per day | ASAP Start

LTF Recruitment is partnering with a well respected, 'OFSTED' Good-rated school in Harborne, seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years provision for the current academic year. This position provides a key opportunity to shape the educational experiences of young students, building trust and confidence in our school community through your friendly and approachable demeanour. The school is looking for you to join them on a full-time basis in September, for the right candidate this can become a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher in delivering the EYFS Curriculum within a mainstream classroom environment.
  • Design and facilitate interactive activities and games to encourage social interaction and inclusivity.
  • Tailor your support and strategies to cater to the individual needs of each child.
  • Offer dedicated support to students facing difficulties in the classroom.

Personal Specifications:

  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree, or Early Years equivalent.
  • Experience working in a Primary school, supporting Early Years.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years curriculum.
  • A passion to support and engage children with a range of learning needs.
