EYFS Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B5 | £90 - £105 per day | ASAP Start

LTF Recruitment is collaborating with a respected school in Edgbaston, rated 'Good' by OFSTED, to bring an Early Years Teaching Assistant into their Early Years team for the current academic year. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to positively impact young learners' educational journeys, nurturing trust and confidence within the school community through a welcoming and supportive presence. The position is full-time until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in implementing the EYFS Curriculum within a mainstream classroom setting.
  • Create and lead engaging activities and games that promote social interaction and inclusiveness.
  • Adapt your support and techniques to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Provide focused assistance to students who encounter challenges in the classroom.

Personal Specifications:

  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, degree, or Early Years equivalent.
  • Familiarity with the Early Years curriculum.
  • A genuine passion for supporting and engaging children with diverse learning needs.
  • Previous experience in a primary school setting, specifically within Early Years support.
