Day Rate: 95-105
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for SEND? Do you specialise in Early Years and seek a new opportunity to support young children with SEN?

Our respected partner primary school in Smethwick is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team after February half-term. This role is offered on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Provide support to students with special educational needs.
Develop engaging learning activities and adapt them to meet pupils' needs.
Conduct interventions for groups of learners, including phonics and reading sessions.
Build positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
Assist pupils with ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
Work with individuals or small groups of students within the classroom.

The ideal candidate will have:

A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree, or Early Years equivalent.
Experience working with children in the Early Years, or nursery environment.
Experience supporting students with special educational needs.
