Long Term Futures are working with a vibrant and well-led primary school in Balsall Heath to find a confident and capable Interventions Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team. The focus will be on running targeted SATs booster groups and supporting children in Year 6 as they prepare for their end-of-year assessments.

This is an ideal role for someone who knows the KS2 curriculum well and can make a real difference through structured interventions and one-to-one support.

Your Role:

  • Lead small group booster sessions in reading, writing, and maths
  • Provide one-to-one support for pupils who need extra input
  • Track progress and work closely with the Year 6 teaching team
  • Use tailored resources and strategies to boost pupil confidence
  • Motivate and encourage pupils in the run-up to their SATs

  • Sound understanding of the KS2 national curriculum and SATs expectations
