Pay: Daily rate - 90-105
Contract Type: Temporary, with potential for extension
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the Role
Long Term Futures are seeking a dedicated and motivated Interventions Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Rubery, Birmingham. In this role, you will provide targeted SATs interventions and work closely with Year 6 pupils to support their academic progress and boost their confidence ahead of their exams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver focused SATs intervention sessions in English and Maths to small groups and individual pupils.
- Support the class teacher in identifying areas where pupils require additional support.
- Track and record pupil progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.
- Develop and adapt learning resources to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment, promoting a growth mindset.
- Encourage and motivate pupils to achieve their best potential in preparation for their SATs.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of one year's experience working as a Teaching Assistant, within Key Stage 2.
- Experience delivering interventions or small group support, particularly for SATs preparation.
- A good understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting children's learning.
- A commitment to the wellbeing and academic success of every pupil.
