Colmore Education are currently looking for SEND teaching assistants! This is a full – time role which is a long-term position. Experienced teaching assistants are encouraged to apply for this role.

The school is located within proximity to Stechford, Kitts Green, Ward End and Hodge Hill.

About this role:

  • Supporting Early Years – KS3 children with autism and learning difficulties
  • You will be supporting the class teacher and making sure that the needs of all the children are met
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to deliver lessons to suit the children’s needs

About you:

  • Be patient as the special needs will vary
  • Previous experience working with children who have SEND
  • Have a calm and caring nature
  • Understand supporting SEND children
  • Have team teach training (preferred not essential)
