SEN(D) Teaching Assistant - North Birmingham Your new company - Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities? Our school in the North of Birmingham is seeking a qualified teaching assistant to support children who have SEN(D).Your new role - This role will involve supporting individual children or small groups of children to access personalised learning, while supporting the whole school value of inclusion. They are looking for a dedicated practitioner with experience of working with children with SEND as well as General Teaching Assistant needs. A good standard of spoken and written English is essential, as is a good standard of numeracy. You may be based in the school's hub, where pupils who find it difficult to manage in larger groups have their lessons. This is a full-time, long-term role which is to start immediately.What you'll need to succeed - You will need to have a Level 3 for teaching assistants or equivalent qualification and recent experience working in a school setting; it would be advantageous if you have prior experience working with children with SEND.
