- Providing one-to-one and small group support to Key Stage 4 students with SEND
- Assisting the teacher in delivering tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Supporting students with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
- Adapting learning materials and activities to ensure accessibility for all students
- Helping to create a positive and structured learning environment
- Working closely with the SENCO, teachers, and other support staff to promote student progress
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children with SEND, particularly in a special school setting
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students with complex needs
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations
