Academics are looking to appoint a talented teaching assistant in the Acocks Green area to start ASAP, working 5 full days per week.

The job is a role is working closely with the SEND Hub with school to offer specialised SEN support to pupils who have additional needs. This role will include 1:1 support and small group support. The successful candidate will be joining an experienced and welcoming team of Teaching Assistants. You must have prior experience of supporting SEND pupils and have experience of delivering personal care.

Academics have an outstanding track record of helping teaching assistants launch or relaunch their careers. We work with newly qualified teaching assistants and teaching assistants in between jobs.

Qualifications we will consider:

Teaching assistant related (level 2+)University graduatesChildcare related (level 2+)Health and social care related (with either school experience or basic knowledge of phonics)Unqualified teaching assistants with classroom experience
