The Role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Level 3 Teaching Assistant specializing in Challenging Behaviour to join a dynamic school environment. You will work closely with students who require additional support due to behavioral and emotional challenges. This role is ideal for someone with a calm, patient, and proactive approach, ready to create a positive impact and help students thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students with challenging behavior in the classroom and one-on-one.
  • Assisting the class teacher in developing and implementing behavior management plans.
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students.
  • Encouraging positive social interactions and student engagement with learning activities.
  • Monitoring and reporting student progress to the class teacher and relevant professionals.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or young people with challenging behavior.
  • A calm and patient demeanor, with the ability to build strong relationships with students.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant certification, are preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
