Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B42 | £95 - £105 Per Day | Long Term - Permanent | January 2025

LTF Recruitment are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support students in a welcoming secondary school located in the Birmingham B42 area. The successful candidate will join a supportive and successful school, taking a positive approach to supporting students with a passion for helping them to reach their full potential.

The role is long term, until the end of the 2025 academic year, with the view to go into a permanent role directly with the school after this.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Offer individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with students, staff and parents to build a supportive network
  • Collaborate closely with teachers to understand the students learning styles, strengths and challenges of individual students
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom culture that fosters a sense of value and support for all students
  • Develop positive relationships with students, guiding them in adhering to school rules and expectations

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience within an education setting
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with diverse learning needs, adapt learning and provide tailored support
  • Have a passion for education and creating a positive learning experience for all students
  • An up to date Enhanced DBS and two references
