Job Requirements for this Teaching Assistant role:
- GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) at Grade C and above in English and Mathematics
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working with young people with special educational needs, particularly SEMH
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality services
- Creativity and initiative in supporting the needs of children
- Flexible and reflective approach to teaching
- Commitment to delivering excellent learning experiences and improving student outcomes
This role involves:
- Supporting pupils aged Year 4 to Year 11 with SEMH difficulties
- Providing individualised support for pupilsā academic, social, and emotional development
- Leading small group interventions to aid progress in behaviour and academics
- Promoting well-being and helping pupils maintain positive classroom behaviours
