Teaching Assistant Salary: £85 - £95 per dayLocation: Two-Form Entry School, Birmingham

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 2-trained Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive school community in Birmingham. This role is focused on providing one-to-one support for children with additional needs in a nurturing, two-form entry primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored support to children on a 1:1 basis, helping them access the curriculum effectively.
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with classroom activities, ensuring all pupils are engaged and supported.
  • Support the social and emotional development of pupils, promoting confidence and independence.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working 1:1 with children, particularly those with additional needs.
  • A patient, understanding, and flexible approach to supporting children's learning.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
