Teaching Assistant required for a lovely, welcoming and supportive special school in South Birmingham. Are you a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant who has experience supporting children with special educational needs? Do you love to see the positive impact that you have on the lives of children? This school needs you!As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be supporting children on a 1-2-1 and small group basis. Making learning fun and helping children to get the most out of each day. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team of Teaching Assistants and Teachers who love what they do!  The school supports children who have a range of moderate learning needs including Autism, MLD, Communication Impairments, and physical disabilities. This is an outstanding setting that has been praised by Ofsted for the education that it provides. This role requires a qualified Teaching Assistant who has previous SEND experience.  Job role:
  • Providing 1-2-1 and call group support for children with special educational needs.
  • Assisting the class teacher in supporting the needs of children.
  • Delivering fun activities for small groups.
  • Ensuring that every child enjoys a wonderful education and feels happy to be in school .
  • Working with a team of Teaching Assistants / Classroom Assistants to support individual needs of students .
