- Supporting children with special educational needs in a Key Stage 2 classroom
- Providing tailored 1-2-1 and small-group interventions to support learning and development
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Adapting resources to meet the needs of individual learners
- Encouraging social and emotional development and promoting positive behaviour
- Working closely with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to ensure each child receives the support they need
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a primary setting
- A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting learning
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A valid DBS on the update service
