Ecologist

Birmingham £26,000-£36,000

I am pleased to announce that we are looking for an Ecologist to join a brilliant multi-disciplinary team to work on projects around Birmingham and the West Midlands! They are a well-established team who provide a range of services which include ecology, arboriculture, land management and sustainability!

The role involves working on a range of protected species surveys which include bat, badger and GCN for exciting projects. The team are looking to expand due to an increase in projects and are looking for someone with experience in conducting surveys and working within a consultancy.

Responsibilities of this role include;

  • Leading bat surveys for a range of residential and development projects.
  • Liaising with clients on site and working alongside people with different skillsets.
  • Report writing include PEAs, PRAs and BNG Assessments.

Requirements for this role include;

  • Experience of working within an environmental consultancy.
  • A bat or badger licence is preferable.
  • Experience of writing reports to a high standard.
