Gleeson are delighted to be working with a digital marketing agency in Birmingham in their search for a Campaign Manager.

Our client are looking for a talented and motivated Campaign Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering seamless, integrated campaigns that span both creative and digital efforts, while also managing PR outreach - this is a brand new role, so it's an excellent opportunity for you to be creative and put your own spin on growing this role and helping the business with client acquisition and developing a wider client base.

As a Campaign Manager, you will lead and manage the development and execution of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring alignment across creative, digital, and PR efforts. You will act as the bridge between the creative and digital teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and the delivery of cohesive marketing strategies. You will also take charge of managing public relations outreach, helping to amplify campaign visibility, manage media relations, and support the agency's reputation-building efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Strategy & Management:
    • Lead the end-to-end campaign process, from creation through execution and analysis.
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and design integrated campaigns that drive measurable results.
    • Develop detailed campaign plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
  1. Creative & Digital Collaboration:
    • Act as a liaison between the creative and digital teams to ensure campaigns are cohesive, on-brand, and aligned with client goals.
    • Facilitate creative brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of campaign concepts.
    • Oversee the execution of digital marketing strategies (SEO, PPC, social media, email, etc.), ensuring the integration of creative assets and messaging.
  1. Public Relations & Media Outreach:
    • Develop and execute PR strategies to support campaigns, including press releases, media pitches, and influencer outreach.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets.
    • Monitor and analyse media coverage, reporting on PR campaign success and media engagement.
    • Support crisis communications and reputation management as needed.
  1. Client Communication & Reporting:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the campaign lifecycle.
    • Present campaign progress, performance metrics, and results to clients in a clear and concise manner.
    • Regularly analyse and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimise results.
  1. Team Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Work closely with project managers, account directors, and other team members to ensure campaigns are aligned with overall marketing goals.
    • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital marketing, PR, and creative industries.
    • Identify opportunities for campaign optimisation and new strategies to increase client satisfaction and ROI.

Experience:

  • Experience in campaign management, digital marketing, PR, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in managing integrated marketing campaigns that combine digital strategies with creative and PR efforts.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and work effectively across teams.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of PR tools and media relations is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
