Are you a Diesel Pump Engineer or similar, with a mechanical engineering background or similar, looking for a field-based role working with an established family-run fire alarm supplier based in the Midlands?
On offer is the opportunity to join an established and rapidly growing family-run business specialising in fire safety and systems. Working with clients across the UK on a wide variety of sites ranging from residential dwellings to industrial distribution centres.
In this field-based role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining diesel pumps used in sprinkler systems, travelling across the UK in a company-provided van. Conducting regular inspections, maintenance, and testing of fire sprinkler systems ensuring compliance and safety.
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working with diesel engines, a full clean driving license, and will be happy with a field-based role working Monday - Friday travelling to different sites across the UK.
The Role:
- Previous experience with diesel engines (Mechanic background accepted)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Shift: Monday - Friday (50-hour week)
The Person:
- Full clean UK driving license.
- Background working with diesel engines.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering would be advantageous.
