This Electrical Design Engineer job will suit:

• An Electrical Engineer / Electronics Engineer with experience of delivering electrical design and development projects into manufacturing.
• Specific experience of designing power distribution, control and instrumentation panels, or bespoke electrical equipment would be advantageous.
• You will have a recognised qualification (Apprenticeship / HND / Degree) in an electrical/electronic engineering or similar engineering discipline.
• The company work on UK Defence projects, so it is a requirement of this role that you must be a sole British Citizen to obtain the relevant level of security clearance.

Electrical Design Engineer responsibilities:

• You will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of electrical design engineering projects including design proposals, detail design, calculations, design validation, and development of technical specifications.
• As you progress and develop you will be able to deliver electrical design engineering projects from the initial design stage, through testing, and into manufacturing.
• Work directly with customer engineering teams to assess their technical requirements.
• The Electrical Design Engineering team forms part of a wider engineering team so you will work closely with Mechanical Design Engineers and Production Engineers.
