What You’ll Do
As an Electrical & Controls Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the detailed design of electrical and electronic hardware systems for a variety of existing and new ride systems. You will work closely with project managers, as well as mechanical and software design teams, to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.
- Electrical Systems Design: Create detailed designs for electrical systems using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Project Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams during all stages of product development, from research and prototyping to final manufacture.
- Standards & Compliance: Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards and adhere to functional safety requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct design risk assessments and maintain documentation for compliance and safety.
- PLC Integration: Collaborate on the design and implementation of PLC systems and inverter drives.
What You Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong background in Electrical Design or Controls Engineering.
- A qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline.
- At least 3 years of industrial experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and experience with PLC systems and inverter drives.
- Knowledge of design risk assessment processes and Sistema Functional Safety (preferred).
- Familiarity with amusement ride industry certification practices (advantageous but not essential).
