Electrical Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, qualified electrical engineer to join our team, a leading provider of safety equipment and devices in the building services sector.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, install, and commission smoke extraction systems.
- Fault-find and rectification on mechanical and electrical components and systems.
- Complete site maintenance and installation/commissioning reports, noting any discrepancies from built drawings and ensuring system compliance.
- Apply technical knowledge for installation processes.
- Liaise with customers, clients, and main contractors on-site to ensure efficient work progression while demonstrating excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Respond to customer call-outs and promote safe working practices in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
- Engage in project planning and decision-making both individually and as part of a team to ensure optimal installation of systems.
- Adhere to all company and site-specific policies and procedures and keep the Project Leader/Coordinator informed of site progress daily.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent in a construction background.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with electrical systems.
- Competence and confidence in pragmatic problem-solving on site.
- A full UK Driving Licence with at least 2 years of driving experience.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to record notes, information, and expenses via a software portal.
- Full UK Right to Work status.
