Electrical Engineer (Industrial)
Red Rock Consultants are currently working with an Electrical Engineering Contractor who deal with a broad range of Industrial and Commercial Installations from conception.
The successful candidate will be based at a food manufacturing facility southeast of Birmingham City Centre.
The main duties will be to carry out and supervise control installations and assist with commissioning.
Role Overview:
As a Electrical Engineer, you will join a small team of 5–10 professionals and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of on-site projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing customer requirements and preparing quotations based on issued specifications.
- Coordinating labour and materials to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Drafting job-specific risk assessments and method statements.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematic diagrams and technical drawings and quotations.
- Managing abd running on-site labour to maintain high standards of quality and discipline.
Requirements:
- 2391 or 2394/5 qualified.
- Supervisory experience
- Building Services experience
- 18th Edition City & Guilds certified.
- ECS Gold Card (preferred).
- Knowledge of PLCs and control systems (preferred).
- Ability to assess customer requirements and prepare accurate quotations.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and schematic diagrams.
