Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
路 Schedule machine surveys with contractors. To include all machines and contractors. This is carried out in conjunction with department managers and engineering department manager.
路 Check surveys, utilise specialists where possible internally and externally
路 Plan work accordingly using the appropriate resources
路 Produce full schedules
路 Gain appropriate approval for labour and parts costs
路 Work as lead Engineer and schedule assistance where required
路 Complete Health Check Surveys
路 Machine Servicing
路 Continual learning and development for Engineering Scheduling requirements
路 Drive, manage and carry out as required the engineering aspect of the weekly machine maintenances
路 Support the engineering facilities function as required
路 Support the Engineering Team Leader and the Engineering Manager as required.
路 Assist with projects as required

Skills / Experience for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
路 Multi-skilled Experience
路 Read Electrical & Mechanical Drawings
路 Excellent Mechanical & Electrical Skills
路 Experience working on pneumatics and Steam boilers would be preferred but not essential
路 Experience working on hydraulics
路 Able to carry out Electrical & Mechanical Fault Finding
路 Experience working on a range of Pumps & Compressors
路 Experience working on Refrigeration systems
