Electronic Hardware Engineer

West Midlands

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (DOE)

An industry leading Electronics manufacturer are looking for a Electronics Hardware Engineer to join their rapidly growing R&D team developing products for a large variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop analogue and digital electronic circuit schematic designs and then lead the PCB design.
  • Provide technical design to manage projects with junior engineers
  • Be able to develop architectural designs, including both hardware and software
  • You will be able to develop specifications and test documents for electronic and electromechanical products.
  • Improving existing products with clients' parameters and develop of new products.   

 

Qualifications:

  • 1st or 2:1 bachelor's degree level in Electrical and/or Electronics engineering
  • 5 years of experience working in electronic hardware environment.
  • Strong analogue and digital signal circuit design
  • PCB Design and layout (e.g. Altium)
  • EMC Design and validation
  • Experience with prototyping and laboratory test equipment.

Nice to have's:

  • Experience in FPGA Design
  • Embedded C, C++
