 Field Service Engineer

 Service Engineer required for an international company that specialises in engraving, marking and cutting machinery and consumables.

Field Service Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Technical support for customers on-site and on the phone.
  • Installation, commissioning, and operator training for new machines on site.
  • Service and repair machines on-site or at the main office.
  • On-site troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and repair.
  • Generate the sale of services by promoting extended warranties, rental of equipment, reconditioning of machines, maintenance contracts, trainings, etc.

Field Service Engineer Education/Experience required

  • Higher academic level in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering is preferable
  • 5 years of experience in technical assistance, customization, and/or customer relations
  • Knowledge of computer tools (Office Suite, CRM, ERP, CAD software)
  • Knowledge of mechanics and automation
  • Capacity to work under pressure
  • Travelling (5 days a week)
  • Customer relationship
