Rate: £380 - £420 Umbrella PAYE

Location: Coleshill, Birmingham

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Structures Section Engineer to join our Structures team.

Role Purpose: To provide management and control of a section of works and team comprising Site Engineers management of sub-contractors focusing on reinforcement Concrete structures activities.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Liaise with designer to resolve technical issues and clashes
  • Understands cost and value
  • Drafts correspondence to sub-contractors, suppliers and Client
  • Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes with clarity, including managing others in this regard
  • Able to work on own initiative and seek out opportunities in line with level of responsibility
  • Excellent team player, able to work competently and independently without continuous supervision
  • Understand working procedures and sequences being capable to write and review RAMS and brief the teams
  • Organise and control all resources, concrete, rebar, plant, operatives. Preparing forecast, orders and controlling the deliveries and outcomes.
  • Responsible of quality, organising inspections, filling ITPs and QRPs, NCRs and FCRs
  • Provide and brief permits

 

Who we're looking for:

  • Civil Engineering experience in reinforcement concrete structures
  • Holds a valid CSCS
  • Has a UK driving licence
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
