- Produce design deliverables (including drawings, specifications, and reports)
- Check calculations and production of detailed drawings to ensure engineering designs meet appropriate quality.
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary members of the design team to deliver safe, efficient, and buildable solutions.
- Contribute to the preparation of enquiry plans, tender reviews, fee estimate sheets, scopes of work and change controls as required.
- Management of Engineers and Technicians in the production of calculations, design deliverables
- Making client presentations on selected projects
- Helping to generate repeat business through building relationships with clients
- Be client-facing and involved in all stages of the projects from inception to completion.
- A CIBSE professional registration (CEng or progressing towards)
- Substantial experience working within the building services engineering area.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering projects in multiple sectors
- Experience in Software including Dialux, Amtech, Revit - Knowledge of British Standards, Building Regulations, HTM’s etc.
- An understanding of incorporating various renewable technologies.
- Experience in managing Engineers, Apprentices, and Graduates.
- Understanding of commercial elements of projects.
- Confident communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
- Starting salary £40,000 - £55,000
