About the Company:

Our client is a leading provider of packaging automation equipment, serving a variety of industries. Their expertise lies in manufacturing check-weighers, vision inspection, and X-ray systems.

The Role:

As a Technical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Electrical Expertise: Understanding and interpreting electrical diagrams.
  • Wiring: Connecting to control panels, including machines wired into 240V and some 3-phase electrical systems.
  • Installation of new projects
  • Preventative breakdowns
  • Ability to work under pressure and appease customers
  • Commissioning & Service: Handling the commissioning of new machinery, as well as breakdowns, service, installation, and PPM.
  • HMI Interaction: Working with inputs/outputs and changing IO cards.
  • Diagnostics: Utilizing your diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Travel: Covering large territories with the company vehicle provided.
  • Proactive Approach: Being a technical, proactive engineer who is comfortable working overtime.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: City & Guilds qualification or substantial experience in a relevant field is required.
  • Have some Field based experience
  • Mechanical bias whom wants to develop electrically, They want to train their way electrically
  • Have worked on Industrial machinery of some description
