Role - CAD/Revit Coordinator - Building Services
Location - Birmingham City Centre
Salary - Up to 45,000 + Benefits
Overview
A well-established Building Services consultancy in Birmingham City Centre is seeking a skilled CAD/Revit Coordinator to support its growing team. Established eight years ago, the company has developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality MEP designs across a diverse range of projects, including:
- Distribution warehouses
- Data centres (including Barclays projects)
- Mission-critical and critical systems
- Rail infrastructure
- High-end residential
- Office refurbishments
With a team of around 15, including three Directors, the consultancy takes pride in a collaborative, office-based working environment and is involved in projects primarily at RIBA Stage 4, with some extending to Stage 5 for on-site oversight. You'll be working directly underneath an experienced BIM lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Revit and CAD coordination for MEP building services projects.
- Produce and maintain accurate Revit models at Stage 4 design, supporting engineers with detailed coordination.
- Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers.
- Oversee model integration across disciplines, ensuring effective collaboration with architects, contractors, and external consultants.
- Provide technical support and Revit training to improve team efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, with experience in building services coordination.
- Experience working on detailed design at RIBA Stage 4, with an understanding of Stage 5 site processes.
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards and structured design coordination.
- Experience working on mission-critical, commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
- Ability to thrive in an office-based role, collaborating closely with the wider team.
