A leading, national business are looking to train qualified electricians to become Electrical Assessors for apprentice electricians within their award-winning centre. They will fund your teaching qualifications to become an electrical lecturer and you’ll be mentored by other team members.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • Conducting assessments and observations of learners in both the workplace and classroom setting
  • Providing constructive feedback and support to learners to help them meet the required standards
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date assessment records and documentation
  • Collaborating with the training team to develop and improve assessment materials
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in electrical installations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified electricians (JIB Gold Card equivalent) with at least three years’ electrical installations experience.
  • Full driving licence
  • Good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • Good communication skills
  • Nurturing and encouraging person
  • Professionalism to make a good teacher
  • A flexible, hard-working individual who is passionate about making a difference
  • Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of teaching
  • Happy to undergo a DBS check

 

My client is offering an annual salary starting at £33,000 depending on experience, for electricians with no lecturing experience.
