About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Birmingham. As a permanent member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installations, maintenance, and testing. This role is ideal for a qualified electrician who has a passion for delivering high-quality electrical work and is looking for a stable, long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in both commercial and residential settings.
• Conduct electrical inspections and testing, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations.
• Perform EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) and PAT Testing as required.
• Identify faults and carry out repairs to ensure minimal disruption to clients or site operations.
• Complete relevant certification and paperwork in line with current standards.
• Work to a high standard of safety, ensuring all work complies with the latest BS 7671 regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly and professionally with clients and team members.

Requirements:

• 2391 (Inspection and Testing) certification is essential.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification.
• Experience in commercial and domestic electrical work.
• Full UK driving license (as you will be required to travel between sites).
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Desirable:

• Previous experience carrying out EICR reports and PAT Testing.
• 17th Edition qualification (if still valid).
