A leading national provider of mechanical and electrical maintenance and installation services is looking for an experienced electrician to join their team. With a history dating back to 1903, they employ nearly 250 staff and apprentices across offices throughout England, Wales, and Scotland, offering a comprehensive range of multi-service, multi-site, mobile engineering solutions for both planned and reactive maintenance. Their services are tailored to customers' specific requirements and delivered by directly employed staff.
In this role, you will work within well-known commercial environments, handling all aspects of electrical installation, compliance, maintenance, and remedial work. The position also includes fire alarm service and maintenance tasks, with training provided in their onsite training centre.
What We're Looking For:
- NVQ Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installation (City & Guilds NVQ Level 3).
- City & Guilds 2382 required (18th Edition essential).
- City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (desirable but not essential).
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance.
- Experience with fire alarm addressable/conventional systems (desirable).
- Familiarity with aspirating systems, door access systems, and nurse call systems (desirable but not essential).
- Proactive and forward-thinking approach.
- Strong communication skills with internal teams and clients.
- Customer-facing experience.
- Good understanding of electrical certification and testing equipment.

- Competitive salary of 18 per hour (37,440 per year).
