Position: Assembly Operative

Location: Birmingham B6

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am to 5pm (1-hour lunch and 2 x 15-minute breaks)

Salary: £11.44ph

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with PCB assembly, although training will be provided to the right candidate. Basic soldering skills are required. This position is available for an immediate start, and interviews will be conducted promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble PCB thru-hole components.
  • Work from diagrams to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Perform programming tasks as required.
  • Conduct end-of-line testing to ensure product quality.
  • Solder and desolder components as needed.
  • Be flexible with working hours, as overtime may be required.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production goals.

Requirements:

  • Good eye for detail.
  • Experience with PCB assembly (training provided for the right candidate).
