Our client is a Networks and Security Solutions Consultancy, who work with a wide range of businesses to provide high quality networking solutions.

Role Snapshot

As a Network Security Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network and security solutions. You will shape and define customer technology estates and networks by providing expert consultancy services.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on some fantastic projects with a large emphasis on shaping the future of networks and security, as well as being part of a talented team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to customers, being the trusted advisor and troubleshooting any ongoing issues.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business needs.
  • Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of network and security solutions.
  • Make recommendations to help the customer optimise their technology estate.
  • Be willing to work in a vendor agnostic environment and stay up to date with the latest technologies.

Essential Skills and Experience:


  • Strong experience in enterprise grade network and security solutions particularly across either Cisco, Juniper or Fortinet technologies.
  • Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Valid CCNP certification.

Additional Requirements:

  • Holding SC Clearance is advantageous, if not already cleared then you must be eligible to apply for clearance.
  • Willing to travel to customer sites across the UK.
  • A valid UK driving license. Some of the customer sites are hard to get to via public transport and driving is the only option.
