About the Opportunity
Are you an experienced OT Cyber Security Engineer with a passion for renewable energy projects? We are working with one of the largest global energy providers to find a talented professional who will play a key role in delivering critical cybersecurity solutions across high-profile wind farm projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Implementation: Lead the design and deployment of robust OT cybersecurity solutions for offshore wind energy projects.
- SCADA System Security: Manage SCADA-focused cybersecurity initiatives, primarily engineering deployments based in Stafford.
- On-Site Deployment: Provide on-site support for key commissioning phases at energy sites
- Redundancy & Hardening:
- Implement redundant Active Directory configurations
- Deploy auto-backup solutions
- Conduct system hardening and application whitelisting
- Service Validation: Support service agreements validation and coordinate service delivery across multiple European projects.
Key Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in OT Cybersecurity for critical infrastructure.
- Expertise in SCADA systems and IEC 62443 standards.
- Strong background in network hardening, whitelisting, and redundancy planning.
- Familiarity with key industrial communication protocols, such as commonly used IEC standards, Modbus, and DNP3.
- Proficient with leading firewall technologies and OT-focused security platforms for threat detection and response.
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions tailored for OT environments.
- Skilled in network monitoring and logging tools used for real-time OT system visibility.
- Understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and related automation software (preferred).
