Robert Walters - Employee Relations Advisor - South Birmingham (2 days on site) - £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Our client, a leading global business is looking for an Employee Relations Advisor to provide comprehensive support and guidance to clients on various employee relations cases. Your role will involve managing cases expediently and minimizing costs and litigation risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage live employee relations cases, providing tailored advice to clients across different sectors.
  • Handle various types of cases, such as long-term sickness, disciplinary, grievance, client removal, redundancy, and capability.
  • Gather relevant facts for each case to ensure appropriate advice.
  • Resolve cases in a timely manner, meeting critical SLAs.
  • Identify high-risk cases, trends, and management capability issues, reporting to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Support with drafting ER letters, including disciplinary allegations and outcome letters.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external teams.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience advising and supporting managers on complex ER issues.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Deep understanding of Employment Law.
  • Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Top desk, and SAP.
  • Experience working towards challenging SLAs/KPIs.
