As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting managers, resolving complex cases, and driving a positive workplace culture. Your expertise in employment relations will ensure fair, consistent, and commercially sound decision-making across the business.What You’ll Be Doing:In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you will:
  • Provide expert HR advice to managers and leaders, ensuring alignment with company policies, employment law, and best practices.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, absence, and investigations, ensuring compliance and fair outcomes.
  • Draft clear, legally sound documentation, including outcome letters, investigation reports, and case summaries.
  • Coach and guide managers, equipping them with the confidence and knowledge to handle employee issues effectively.
  • Analyse ER trends, identifying key themes and making proactive recommendations to improve policies, reduce risk, and enhance employee experience.
  • Keep up to date with employment law changes, ensuring the business remains compliant and prepared for legislative updates.
  • Support change management initiatives, including restructures, TUPE transfers, and policy development.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, fostering a culture of trust, fairness, and accountability.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor, Employee Relations Specialist, or HR Generalist in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, with a track record of successfully managing employee relations cases.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex HR processes in a clear and engaging way.
  • Confidence to challenge, influence, and coach managers while maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring all advice and documentation are accurate and legally compliant.
  • A proactive mindset, always looking for opportunities to improve policies, processes, and employee experiences.
